Celebrating a New Chapter: KIJO Battery Vietnam Trade Union Officially Established!

1. A Milestone Moment: Grand Inauguration of the Trade Union

On May 6, 2025, KIJO Battery Vietnam Co., Ltd. celebrated a historic milestone—the official establishment of its trade union! The ceremony was attended by Nguyen Thi Kim Lien, Chairwoman of the Tay Ninh Provincial Trade Union; Nguyen Trong Danh, Vice Chairman; General Manager Guo Changsheng; and employee representatives. Marked by solemnity and enthusiasm, the event signified a new chapter in corporate democratic management.  

2. Leadership Vision: Unity and Future Prospects

General Manager Guo Changsheng emphasized the trade union's pivotal role in fostering synergy between the company and its employees, calling for collective efforts to build a harmonious workplace. Chairwoman Nguyen Thi Kim Lien affirmed the union's function as a bridge, pledging full support for safeguarding workers' rights. Their speeches set a clear direction for the union's mission.  

3. Three Decades of Industry Excellence, Expanding Horizons in Vietnam

Since its founding in 1993, KIJO Group has grown into a leading lead-acid battery manufacturer with an annual capacity exceeding 15GWH. Following the launch of its Vietnam Phase I project in April 2025, the company accelerated its localization strategy, welcoming over 100 Vietnamese employees. The trade union's establishment aligns not only with legal requirements but also with the corporate mission to "delight customers, enrich employees, and give back to society."  

4. Democratic Election: A Mandate for the Trade Union Committee  

Through secret ballot voting, employee representatives fairly elected the inaugural trade union committee. Newly appointed Chairman Liu Gongtian pledged to fulfill his duties diligently, serving as a bridge between management and staff while advancing employee welfare and career development.  

5. The Union's Roadmap: Empowering Employees, Fostering Harmony

Moving forward, the union will focus on three key areas: organizing skills training for professional growth, hosting cultural and recreational activities, and implementing care policies to cultivate a supportive workplace, all aimed at boosting employee engagement and corporate cohesion.
