On December 26, leading professional battery manufacturer Jiangxi Jingjiu Power (Jiujiang) Co., Ltd. (hereinafter "KIJO") and non-ferrous metals industry benchmark Jiangxi Copper Lead-Zinc Metal Co., Ltd. (hereinafter "JCLZ") officially signed a strategic cooperation agreement. Centered on "resource synergy and green symbiosis," this marks the beginning of deep integration across the industrial chain. Senior management from both companies and distinguished guests attended the signing ceremony.

KIJO, an integrated R&D, manufacturing, and sales enterprise in the green energy sector, aims to become a globally leading green energy company. With multiple production bases domestically and internationally, its product portfolio includes valve-regulated sealed lead-acid batteries, power batteries, energy storage batteries, and more. It possesses profound technical expertise and market influence in the energy storage field. This cooperation is a key step in strengthening its resource security and deepening its green industrial chain layout.
JCLZ, a core subsidiary of Jiangxi Copper Group, employs internationally advanced lead-zinc combined smelting technology, efficiently producing lead, zinc, gold, silver, sulfuric acid, and other products, demonstrating significant technological and industrial chain advantages. The partnership will transcend traditional sales-purchase models, establishing a long-term synergistic mechanism covering key resources such as lead-containing waste, lead ingots, and sulfuric acid.

The highlight of this cooperation lies in constructing a closed-loop industrial model of "raw material supply – product manufacturing – waste recovery – recycling." JCLZ will provide high-quality raw materials to KIJO, ensuring stable product quality, while the lead-containing waste generated by KIJO will be recycled and regenerated by JCLZ using advanced smelting technology. This enhances resource circularity and reduces environmental impact. This model actively supports the national "Dual Carbon" strategy, addresses the industry pain point of low recycling rates for lead-acid batteries, and provides a replicable example for industrial green transformation.
KIJO Group President Wu Mingyao stated that this strategic cooperation stems from a shared commitment to sustainable development and is an inevitable choice for upgrading upstream-downstream industrial chain synergy. Moving forward, both parties will continue to explore broader collaboration in areas like technological R&D and resource integration, jointly driving the industry towards higher efficiency, circularity, and sustainability, and contributing greater momentum to global green energy development.
